Wasn’t sure what to expect when I got these in the mail, but that’s the fun part, right? Once I got them installed in S2 Custom 24 I can say it exceeded my hopes. It definitely has the PAF sound but with more clarity. From low gain to high gain and rolling off the volume these are the pest Vintage style PAF I’ve heard.

I recently installed a set of the noise canceling p90 soap bars in a Gibson Les Paul special and they sound amazing!! I’ve used other brand noiseless pickups prior to these and it’s really no contest to how much better they sound! The clarity is there, the warmth on the neck pickup is there and they’ve got enough output to really rock when the gain is cranked up on your amp…. Without the noise!! Not to mention that David is a really nice guy who sincerely cares about his customers needs and conveys his knowledge into every build and custom set of pickups he designs!! Like a Farmer…he’s a man Outstanding in his field!
Everything from the packaging to the sound is top notch!! Get a set!! You will NOT be disappointed!!

I’ve loved P90’s since Green Day’s American idiot came out, which really sent my quest for tone to another level. This P90 humbucker flippin rules. It has punch, sustain, clarity and best of all, it doesn’t sound thin and wimpy. It has a KILLER growl to it as well.

Extremely easy to install and this is coming from someone who seriously can’t solder anything.

I highly recommend this pickup to anyone who loves humbuckers but also loves P90’s cause it’s a great blend of both (to me in my head anyways). That probably doesn’t make sense but I promise you, it’s a great pickup.

This three way wiring harness is from another dimension. Once of the best I have ever installed in a guitar.

I purchased the Mason Deluxe P.A.F. for the neck position in a Hum-Single-Hum pickup set. As a neck position humbucker it produces a beautiful clear and open tone. No wool, not dark, a nice balance between body and note definition. I think this also helps the way it works with the single coil in the middle. Together they create a very natural vintage woody tone. The Mason Deluxe P.A.F. easily earns five stars.

Such a great product and a perfect upgrade to the Les Paul. The soldiering job is so articulate. Great service and I love working with Dave. I highly recommend Brickhouse pickups and loaded prewired Harnesses.

I wasn’t quite happy with the original P90s in my Gibson Custom Shop SG Special.. I’m a “traditionalist”, but I took a chance on the BH90s as I was very pleased with the Brickhouse 1960 PAFs that David made for me. So… the BH90s are a game changer. They give me that percussive warm P90 tone … plus that killer grit of a vintage P90 but with NO HUM. I love P90s the best but would often grab a humbucker guitar as a compromise to gig in “noisy” rooms… Now I can just grab my SG Special because it has a killer P90 tone with no hum or noise! I believe these may be quieter than a traditional humbucker equipped guitar! Thank you David and Brickhouse Toneworks!

Installed this harness into a “new to me” 2001 R8 along with a set of the 60 PAFs. It replaced a functional but messy non-original harness. The control ranges are perfectly tapered for an almost endless tone palette at your fingertips. David has done an outstanding job with these. I bought a second harness as well for my other R8.

After trying several of the popular pickup winders, including ThroBak, I came across Brickhouse 1952 P90 set. These are, by far, the best of bunch. I replaced the stock Gibson P90s in my 1954 Les Paul Reissue. These Gibson’s are great but I already have them in another guitar so wanted a slightly different sound. Compared to the Gibson, the Brickhouse are more balanced, clearer while still having a good amount of grind, and clean up like no other P90 I’ve tried. These are great!

Another standout pickup from Dave at Brickhouse!! He put a set of these in my PRS Hollowbody SE to replace the stock humbuckers that were good but not great. The BH-90’s have been a stellar upgrade. Exactly what was looking for tone wise. I play a lot of Jazz on this guitar in the style of Grant Green and Kenny Burrell. Phenomenal tones in the neck, middle and bridge. Crisp, clear and articulate but also warm with a lot of personality. Very touch sensitive. They sound great with drive from the amp or pedals and responds beautifully to changes using the guitar’s volume knob. I went with the open face design and the black fiber board looks great against the black body of the guitar. Dave, you are always great to work with!! Appreciate you! A real master of your craft, you are!
