This aged vintage 1953 Tele pickup combines the flagship 1953 Tele pickup with a hand-aging process and degaussed magnetizing to replicate the tone and look of 70+ year-old pickups. It features vintage construction with period-correct materials and components. Each pickup uses proprietary degaussing to slightly weaken the magnets for authentic vintage character, delivering the bright, cutting tones for country and rockabilly, warm overdrive for blues, and the dynamic range that defined great Telecasters of the early 1950s.

Details That Matter:
The neck and bridge pickups are RWRP (Reverse Wound Reverse Polarity) from each other so that you can achieve hum-canceling when both pickups are combined in the middle position. This is a modern advantage that comes standard with all of our single coils.
Note:
If you are going to use a 4-way mod switch, you can request that we add a 3rd wire to the neck pickup in the notes during checkout. There is no extra charge.
