These pickups are alive! The neck is sweet, smoky, throaty and percussive but it still has great articulation and that cool chirp tone. The neck tones remind me of Mark Knopfler’s 58 burst tones on the Shangri-La album.
The bridge is rowdy and lively with great string articulation, every note rings out with hot, juicy, vintage tone! The bridge also has a good balance of tightness and sag, not spongy and weak like some PAF’s I’ve tried. I’m not normally an Alnico 2 guy because they can be spongy, but these are so good that they’ve pulled me away from Alnico 5. The bridge reminds me of the Billy Gibbons tones we all love.
Bridge and Neck together has a great chime and chirp.
Both respond to your hands and how you dig into the notes very well, they also react to your volume and tone knobs well.

Very inspiring, I played for hours after installing them. David is a pleasure to work with and will get you the tones you’re looking for! I found these from roknfnrol’s youtube channel, and I think his demo’s of these pickups do them justice! Love em! Would definitely buy another set.

These pickups deliver! They're highly responsive, w beefy output and clear, articulate cleans. Sensitive + powerful. The aged nickel covers look really killer as well.

I play out doors once a week and I love my LpJr but playing out doors in a parking lot with EV charger's I pick up a lot of hum. I talked to David and he recommended HBP90 I said send me one and im so glad I did. In the past I have tried hum canceling P90 and have not been impressed but Dave’s are fantastic the guitar has the feel and sound of a Jr but no hum. Try one you will like it.

Well, it’s been five months since I ordered these noiseless hum bucker size P 90s and I have to say that of all the pick ups and guitars I have had over the years that I’ve used for live work and recording these pick ups are certainly some of the most unique sounding hum bucker sized P-90’s that I have ever used. I have been using them for recording extensively on some instrumental projects that come out of Arizona but I finally got to have the opportunity to play this guitar in a few live situation’s and these pick ups just do not disappoint. They sing like a bird, one playing single not lead lines And when turn down for a more crunchy rhythm sound, they are very clear and articulate. My hat goes off to Dave. Blown away by these pickups. Clean to mean, and everything in between! I’ve had a lot of great PAF replicas from well known builders, but these are my favorite I’ve tried. On top of that, Dave is a pleasure to work with. If you’re thinking about getting a pair- just do it!! You won’t be disappointed.

I have PAF style pickups from the biggest and best... Throbak, Ellis, Holmes, and these pickups sound as good or better than any of them for half the price. I put them in a '61 reissue SG. They replaced a different high-end set that was too bright for my liking, and these have the perfect sound. Rich, creamy, warm, but not muddy! EXACTLY what I was looking for. Use VIPots, and a paper in oil capacitor with these pickups, and when you roll back the tone it's impossible to beat. Thank you Dave!!! I'm looking forward to my next set!!!

Super clear with wonderfully juicy harmonics when you dig in. Very reactive to your right hand. Just the right bit of grit. Killer with high gain, which is what I was hoping for when I ordered them. Metal needs real tone, too. Ordering more for other guitars.

I just recently acquired the BH90 pickup, and let me tell you, they’re doing it right over there. I’ve been on a bit of a search looking for the right p90 pup; went through a few of the big brands and even some more off the beaten path, but nothing compares to the clarity, harmonic content and ACTUAL P90 TONES of the Brickhouse. My search is over.

Ever since I got the brickhouse bh90s i can’t put that guitar down. They’re not just the best hum free p90s I’ve played, they’re the best p90s I’ve ever played. They’re so touch sensitive. I can play loud aggressive, hi-gain rock and they’re quiet and full sounding, and then I can roll back my volume and they clean up. David is so knowledgeable and easy to work with 5 stars all around.

David changed the standard P90's in my PRS McCarty to the BH90S. These things are awesome! I was tired of the noise from the standard P90's. These BH90S pickups are super quiet and sound incredible. To me the tone is better than the standard PRS pickups. Its a double win. Also I can't say enough about David's knowledge and expertise. Thank Your Sir.

I ordered these from Dave and they were shipped the next day! Got them in my USA PRS and used that guitar on a number of recordings from a project I was hired to do… They really have a snarly attitude P-90 thing and they’re highly dynamic and clean up nicely when turned down….
Well, time to tune up Bluey and back to work…. Oh, and these pickups are dead quiet. More so than some humbuckers I have
